On April 15, one of the annual flagship exhibitions co-curated by Yi Ya Ju, a promoter of lifestyle aesthetics and contemporary art, and New York–based Crossing Collective—“AURA IN NATURE”—is set to make a grand debut! The exhibition features ten collaborating artists—Qin Feng, Quan Jenna, Zhou Duoren, Chen Yufan, Li Shan, Zhou Xiaohu, Ouyang Sulong, Zhou Peng, Yuan Daxi, and Katja Lohr—who will come together at the Shanghai Jianye Li Art Space to create an immersive “Aura in Nature” experience.

For those long accustomed to urban life, trapped within the confines of concrete and steel, the distance from nature has left the spirit increasingly parched. This collaborative art and cultural space, presented by Yi Ya Ju and Crossing Collective, aims to weave nature into art and bring art back into everyday life, offering visitors a poetic sensory experience reminiscent of “bamboo entering a secluded path, green vines brushing against one’s garments.”

Nature invigorates, and the participating artists channel their personal experiences and connections with the natural world into their works. Immersed in the aesthetically curated environment by Yi Ya Ju, visitors can momentarily step away from the extreme rationality of form and function, escaping a life dominated by networks and tools, and rediscover a touch of nature in its purest essence.

Here, the fusion of French elegance with Shanghai’s cosmopolitan charm, the allure of contemporary art, and the sensibility of natural beauty converge, inviting a contemplative and lingering reflection that resonates long after the experience.
